Obituary of Virgil Edward Alderman

Virgil Edward Alderman, age 65, of French Creek, WV, died Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his home. He was born July 4, 1959, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late James and Helen Hawkins Alderman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Alderman. He is survived by two sons, Daniel Alderman and wife Chelise of French Creek and Matthew Alderman of Logan County, WV; eight grandchildren, Daniel Alderman, Jr., Elizabeth, Jax and Mason Alderman, MacKenzie Strickland, Kyson Alderman, Ashlynn Sheets and Tillie Alderman; one brother, Ronnie Alderman of French Creek; special family, Jim and Jennifer White of French Creek and his former wife and mother of his children, Irene Haymond of Rock Cave, WV. Mr. Alderman was a Skid Operator. In honoring Mr. Alderman’s wishes he will be cremated. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
