Richard Lee Roberts

September 26, 1950 - March 8,2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Lee Roberts on March 8, 2025, at the age of 74. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, veteran and friend. Richard was born in California and after meeting his wife and marrying, resided in Northern Virginia for many years. He worked for Dominion Power Company for 30 years as a substation technician. Shortly before his retirement, they moved to Inwood, WV. Richard was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Myra, daughters, Crystal and Stephanie, siblings, Jeff and Julie, and grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Kurtis, Jason and Tyler. He was predeceased by son, Cory, parents, Jeanneane and Norman, and sister, Susan. Visitation will be held March 21, 2025, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home, 95 S. Kanawha Street, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Graveside memorial services will be held on March 21, 2025, at 3:00 pm in the Upshur County Memorial Park Cemetery, 168 Memorial Park Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201.
