Obituary of Henry Wayne Johnson

Henry Wayne Johnson, age 62, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born September 11, 1962, in Detroit, MI, a son of the late Jackie Wayne and Betty Jane Rapier Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Lynn Johnson and son, Jackie Wayne Johnson, Jr. He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Daugherty and husband Jared; three sons, Jason Moshier, Justin Moshier and wife Valerie, and Jacob Moshier; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Ray Johnson and companion Tiffany Pinder and Timothy Johnson; two sisters, Marilyn Griffith and Rhonda Marie Jackson; one sister-in-law, Joyce Johnson; one nephew, Kenneth Ray Johnson, Jr. and several nieces. Mr. Johnson was a truck driver and a mechanic. He was a Godly man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Henry was a great father, brother, and friend who always came through when you really needed him. In honoring Mr. Johnson’s wishes, he will be cremated.
