Harry E. Taylor, age 90, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at his home. He was born August 5, 1934, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Harry and Minnie Smith Taylor. On June 22, 1959, he married Betty Rae Tenney who preceded him in death on March 15, 2019. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his grandson, David Taylor, II. Surviving are two sons, Ronald Taylor and girlfriend Barbara Sanders of Buckhannon and David Taylor and wife Beverly of French Creek, WV; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Doxie of Annville, PA and Lauren Samuels of Parker, CO; three great-grandchildren, Emmylou Doxie and David Doxie both of Annville and Aria Samuels of Paker; one sister, Bernice Karickhoff of Woodbridge, VA and special niece, Wendy Andrus of Buckhannon. Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Baptist by faith, and a Packaging Engineer and School Bus Driver by trade. In honoring Harry’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
