Duetta Augustine Oldaker, age 94, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Crestview Manor in Jane Lew, WV. She was born March 5, 1930, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Thomas Ray and Loamma Belle Brake Oldaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelcel Oldaker; one daughter, Cathy Jo Hardman; one son, James Oldaker; one granddaughter, Angela Wooten; three sisters, Doris Baxa, Mildred Cascarella and Edith Oldaker and four brothers, Hinzman, Edwin, Aaron and Willie Oldaker. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Eakins and husband James of Newton Falls, OH and Debra Labuz of Buckhannon; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and one daughter-in-law. Mrs. Oldaker retired from Aladdin Food Service after thirty years of service. She was blessed and loved taking care of some wonderful elderly people. She also took care of her husband for the last two years of his life until he went home to be with the Lord. The family wishes to thank Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home for all the services they have done for our family over the years. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the Lorentz Cemetery in Lorentz, WV with Rev. Frank Spears officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
