Rosemary “Rosie” Phillips

Rosemary “Rosie” Phillips, age 75, of French Creek, WV, died Friday, June 7, 2024, at Nella’s at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Elkins, WV. She was born January 2, 1949, in Kenton, OH, a daughter of the late Ernest Eugene and Mary Agnes Lambert Faurot. On September 27, 1969, she married Gary Ross Phillips who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Audra Giguere and husband Raymond of Christmas, FL; one son, Gary Ross Phillips, Jr and wife Mary of Chesapeake, VA; two grandsons, Gary Ross Phillips III of Chesapeake and Jared Giguere of Christmas; two granddaughters, Ariel Marie Austin and husband Cody of Norfolk, VA and Jamie Giguere of Christmas; one great granddaughter, Melody Austin of Norfolk; one great grandson, Lane Austin of Norfolk and one brother, Kermit Earl Graver of Lorain, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Marie Davis and four brothers, Ken Paugh, John and Harold Graver and Charles Faurot. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. Friends will be received Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor John Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Ridge Church Cemetery in Gaines, WV.
