Obituary of Madeline C Kulina

Madeline C. Kulina, age 91, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at her home. She was born October 20, 1926 in Eden, WV, a daughter of the late Waitman T. and Lula Mulnix Chidester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Kulina; one daughter, Sharon Ware; one grandson, Shawn Ware;  one brother, Don Chidester; two sisters, Delvina Baptista and Jessie Thorpe and one great nephew, Jeffrey Chidester. She is survived by one son-in-law, Delmas Ware of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Casandra Tomey and husband Jim of Buckhannon; two great-granddaughters, Amber and Whitney Tomey both of Buckhannon; one great-great-granddaughter, Kayselyn Loudin of Buckhannon; special sister-in-law, Fran Chidester of Buckhannon and special friend, Jo of Buckhannon. Mrs. Kulina was a secretary. She was a member of the West Buckhannon United Methodist Church. She loved to read and enjoyed going out with her sister-in-law and was very active in her church. Friends will be received Friday, March 30, 2018 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Calvin McCutcheon officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
