Obituary of Emma Pauline Bunner

Emma Pauline Bunner, age 89, of Buckhannon, WV passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Hospice Care Corporation in Morgantown, WV. She was born January 17, 1928 a daughter of the late John and Bessie Anderson Gillespie. On August 17, 1952, she married Roy Bunner who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one son, Mike Bunner of Buckhannon; one daughter, Pamela Fletcher and husband James of Mount Clare, WV; three grandsons, Logan Fletcher and wife Kaitlyn of Fairmont, WV, Michael Bunner and wife Lauren of Madison, WV and Joseph Bunner of Montgomery, WV; five granddaughters, Leah Fletcher and fiancé RJ Brandenburg of Morgantown, Uriah Bunner of Morgantown, Lydia Bunner of Montgomery, Haley Maher and husband Chuck of Pittsburgh, PA, and Carrie Cunningham and husband Drew of Bruceton Mills, WV; one great grandson, Owen Maher of Pittsburgh; three great granddaughters, Alaina Cunningham and Makayla Cunningham both of Bruceton Mills, and Brianna Maher of Pittsburgh; one sister, Donis Sardich and husband Steve of Warren, OH; one brother Robert Gillespie and wife Linda of Warren, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bunner was a retired meat packer at Foodland and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2 PM at the Faith Baptist Church in Buckhannon with the Rev. Mark Davis officiating.
