Obituary of Dorothy Everett

Dorothy Everett, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV went to be with the Lord after a long illness on September 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born November 15, 1937 in Luthersburg, PA a daughter of the late Oliver M. and Edna Gelnett Anthony. On May 8, 1957 she married Paul Everett who preceded her in death on January 24, 2008. She is survived by one daughter, Melanie Kelley and husband Mike of Buckhannon; one son, Kevin D. Everett of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Michael Kelley and Toni and Alexander C. Everett all of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Crystal S. Everett of Buckhannon; one, great-granddaughter, Kimber Kelley of Ohio; two sisters, Sally Tkach and husband Frank of Poland, OH and Kathleen Butler and husband Earl of Clearfield, PA; one brother-in-law, Charles Everett and Pauline of Ohio and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Paul L. Everett, Jr. Mrs. Everett was a retail clerk, a Christian by faith and loved spending time with her family. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
