Obituary of Glenna Elizabeth Fletcher

Glenna Elizabeth Fletcher, age 76, of Ellamore, WV died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkins, WV. She was born January 15, 1941 in Ellamore, a daughter of the late Ray and Dolly Koon Wamsley. On July 14, 1963, she married Claude Morris Fletcher, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2005. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Ruth Gower and eight brothers, Willard, Loren, Garnett, Ronnie, Dennis, Danny, Carrol and Charles Wamsley. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Keller and husband Kevin of Parsons and Joan Howes and husband Mark of Belington, WV; two sons, Bryan Fletcher and wife Cindy of Coalton, WV and David Fletcher and wife Jennifer of Ellamore; five granddaughters, Ashlee Barker and husband Brad of Bruceton Mills, WV, Shelby and Rebecca Stalnaker both of Elkins, Megan Fletcher of Coalton and Sydney Fletcher of Ellamore; two grandsons, Dylan Fletcher of Coalton and Hunter Fletcher of Buckhannon, WV; one great granddaughter, Mylah Fletcher of Coalton; one great grandson, Dylan Fletcher, II of Coalton; one sister, Arawana Tenney and husband Robert of Ellamore and three brothers, Jim Wamsley and wife Kay of Geneva, OH, Douglas Wamsley and wife Sue of Ellamore and Tom Wamsley of Buckhannon. Mrs. Fletcher was a homemaker and a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
